Xylaria longipes Nitschke. Langstielige Holzkeule Dead Moll's Fingers. Similar to X. polymorpha but altogether more slender. Spores smaller, 1216 x 57um. Habitat on stumps and fallen branches usually of sycamore. Season all year. Occasional. Not edible. Found In Europe.
